Taking Your Blog to the Next Level

Are you tired of jumping from one fad to the next trying to get traffic to your blog? Most of us, stumble from one product to the next trying to find ways to increase our traffic and make money with our blogs.
Today i am going to show you 3 ideas for increasing your traffic as well as how to implement them into your blog.
First, is the proper use of unique content. Many sites you see have copied text etc. to put into their own sites; well not only is this unethical, it could be hurting your sales and rankings in the search engines. So it goes without saying, in order to produce real results you need to concentrate on your niche and speak from personal experience.
Second, most successful bloggers focus on one main point or topic. They understand their niche and concentrate on developing customers to purchase their wares. They do this by creating a site that talks directly to their customers, not trying to put up tons of affiliate programs or other money making opportunities. They work on making a product or service and run with it. Unfortunately, many of us get caught up in trying to promote one fad, and not seeing immediate results, leave it unfinished or lacking in original content.
Finally, getting your name out there! All of the work you pour into your blog is consequential. Your blogs lifeblood is relevant traffic. It won't make much of a difference if you have a million people that come to your blog everyday if none of them are truly interested in what your selling. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a crucial tool for getting targeted traffic to your blog. The simplest way to get a higher ranking in the search engines is to make your writing stand out. Bolding and underlining specific keywords inside of your blog text that are relevant is important to your ranking. The search engines will look over your writing and make a note out of the words that stand apart from the rest. I'm not saying that you should go through and bold and underline everything, that could possibly result in getting your site banned. Look over your posts and select a few words that relate to your topic and make them stand out. After making changes, I recommend submitting your blog to the search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc. as well as pinging your blog with Ping-o-Matic, PingMyBlog, Autopinger, etc.
